About the Project
This is an original DVD packaging design representing the 2005 film “Walk the Line” starring Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash and Reese Witherspoon as June Carter.
This project was primarily executed using Photoshop effects on various type treatments and implementing smart objects. Upon completion, the project was placed within Adobe Indesign and DVD-specific imagery was placed accordingly with the framing tool.
Client's Quote
Great color scheme and use of different typefaces to encapsulate the time period and overall mood of the film. A really clever decision to use song lyrics in your background to tie the song and movie title together. Nice job!
